Eduard Å torch

Eduard Štorch ( born April 10, 1878 in Ostroměř, † June 25, 1956 in Prague) was a Czech writer, educator and archaeologist.

After completion of the secondary school in Hradec Králové Štorch visited the local teacher training college. He then worked as a school board first in North Bohemia East Bohemia and. From 1903 until his retirement in 1938 Štorch taught in Prague. In Lubor Niederle Štorch studied archeology. Besides his interest and the ethnography and biology.

1935 wrote Štorch with Karel Čondl a three-part history textbook for the citizens of schools. The very advanced work entitled " Pracovní učebnice dějepisu per školy měšťanské " ( Practical history book for the public school ) was attacked mainly by the Catholic Church sharp and in 1936 to an interpellation of Senator and catechists Bishop Alois Roudnický ( CSL ) in the Czechoslovak Parliament.
