Eduardo Medina-Mora Icaza

Eduardo Medina- Mora Icaza Tomás ( born January 30, 1957 in Mexico City) is a Mexican lawyer and politician.

Medina- Mora was from 2000 to 2005 director of the Mexican intelligence CISEN before 2005, after the death of Ramón Martín Huerta in a helicopter crash on then reigning Mexican President Vicente Fox 's successor as Secretary of the Government of Homeland Security and Director of the Secretaría de Seguridad Pública was appointed. This office he held until 2006, and in December of the same year, under President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa to the Procurator General de la República (~ Attorney General ) appointed.

His son, Manuel Medina- Mora is president and director of the Banco Nacional de México ( Banamex ).
