Edvīns Ozoliņš

Edwin Sigismundowitsch Osolin ( ( Latvian: . Edvīns Ozoliòš ); Russian Эдвин Сигизмундович Озолин, English transcription Edvin Ozolin; born February 12, 1939 in Leningrad ) is a former Latvian sprinter who competed for the Soviet Union.

The European Athletics Championships 1958 in Stockholm, he won the Soviet team bronze in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

In 1960 he retired from the 100m in the quarter finals at the Olympic Games in Rome. In the 4 x 100 - meter relay team, he won the Soviet team in the cast Gusman Kossanow, Leonid Bartenew, Yuri Konovalov and Osolin the silver medal in 40.1 s behind the German relay race, with 39.5 s a world record aufstellte.
