Edward Herrmann
Edward Herrmann ( born July 21, 1943 in Washington, DC ) is an American actor.
Life and career
Herrmann made in 1965 from Bucknell University with a degree and studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art
Throughout his long career of Automobilfan and Tony Award -winner was a distinctive and well-known face in the U.S. television, especially through the presentation of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the TV movies Eleanor and Franklin (1976) and Eleanor and Franklin: The White House Years ( 1977), as well as guest-starred on numerous series.
In the television series Gilmore Girls, she performed his typical role of the aging patriarch Richard Gilmore in all seven seasons. After the series ended in 2007, he played the role of probably the oldest medical assistant Norman on the hit series Grey's Anatomy in some episodes. Since 2010 he has repeatedly seen in the series The Good Wife.
Herrmann is also very well known in the U.S. for his work as a spokesman for numerous documentations of the History Channel and PBS specials. Even the commercials of car manufacturer Dodge were for decades inconceivable without Herrmann's voice.
