Edward Nowak

Edward Nowak ( born February 21, 1940 in Nowy Żmigród ) is a Curia, Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church.

Life

Nowak was dedicated on January 13, 1963 for the Diocese of Przemysl priest. On February 24, 1990, Pope John Paul II appointed Titular Archbishop of Luni and Secretary of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. He received his episcopal consecration John Paul II on April 5, 1990 at St. Peter's Basilica; Co-consecrators were the Archbishops Giovanni Battista Re and Justin Francis Rigali. On May 5, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI. him to the assessor of the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem.
