EE (telecommunications company)

The Everything Everywhere Ltd. is a British mobile operator based in Hatfield. The company was formed on 1 July 2010 by the merger of T -Mobile UK and Orange UK, the mobile phone activities of Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom.

History

On 8 September 2009, the German Telekom and France Telecom announced that they are to see your mobile activities in the United Kingdom in a joint venture and both sides will hold a 50 percent stake. On 6 November 2009, the two partners signed the contract establishing the joint venture. After the competition authorities and the supervisory board had approved the merger, was on 1 April 2010, the joint venture, the Everything Everywhere Ltd. founded.

With effect from July 1, 2010, all activities of T -Mobile UK and Orange UK, on the Everything Everywhere Ltd. transmitted. Thus ended the independence of the two companies, however, remain for the time being as trademarks. However, the two brands will disappear from the market in the long term and be replaced by the unified brand EE.
