Eerie, Indiana is an American TV series that was aimed at a younger audience. The title refers not only to the name of the city, but also to the English word " eerie ", which, like, scary 'or' creepy ' means something. The original series was produced from 1991 to 1992. In 1998 a successor series was entitled Eerie, Indiana - The Other Dimension (Original Title: Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension), in which - apart from the pilot episode, in which the protagonist of the original series met the protagonist of the new series - an entirely new cast occurred.

Action

Protagonist of the original series is the 13 -year-old Marshall Teller, who moved with his parents and his older sister in the small town of Eerie in the U.S. state of Indiana, and soon discovers that this place is not like any other. Thus, Bigfoot and believed dead Elvis Presley just two of the unusual forms, which, in Eerie Indiana hang around.

Together with his younger friend Simon Marshall spar is the many secrets of his new hometown on the ground.

In the follow-up series Mitchell Taylor and his friend Stanley Hope take on the role of the protagonists of Marshall and Simon who participate once again in the first episode.

Awards

The lead actor Omri Katz and Justin Shenkarow were both nominated for the 1992 Young Artist Award, but left empty-handed.

Charisma Germany

Eerie, Indiana was broadcast in Germany on RTL, starting in 1994 and then several times on the Children's Channel (now KI.KA ) and repeated on ZDF. The new episodes of the successor series was first broadcast in KI.KA.
