EEVA

EEVA ( Eesti vanema kirjanduse digitaalne tekstikogu, German: Digital Text Collection of older literature Estonia ) is a joint research project of the University Library of Tartu ( Dorpat ), the University Institute of Literature and Folklore and the Estonian Literary Museum.

Launched in autumn 2002, cooperation between the three institutions aims to provide access to old and rare texts of Estonian literary history has to offer, without exposing the original texts of the wear by the scientific processing. The EEVA project is organizationally supported by the university, but financially substantial support from the government program " Classical Literature " of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia.

The scientific work comprises in addition to the digitization of the 3,000 most important works - current status about 1,100 texts by 321 authors - including documentaries on the individual poets and translators. They divided the stocks into three chronological sections:
