Efke

Fotokemika Efke is a brand name of the film maker's Fotokemika from Samobor (Croatia).

Under the name of Efke low sensitivity and panchromatic sensitized black and white negative films are offered as a small image and roll film including the currently single, available on the German market ( Efke KB -25 and Efke R -25 Resolution: 115 lines per millimeter; film speed 20 ASA, ISO 20/14 ° GOST 18). These films are the last still available in single- technology ( Single Layer) made ​​Feinstkornfilme; they have a high silver content and allow a relatively excellent reproduction of gray values; by the single-layer technology, the movies almost no Schwarzschild effect.

Fotokemika is also the only manufacturer that produces 127 still roll films of the type for the smaller medium format 4 x 65, 3 x 4 and 4 × 4, for example, was used by many box cameras until the 1960s.

All Efke films are manufactured according to old recipes of Adox - photo works.

In August 2012, the production was stopped by photographic materials.
