Efraín Juárez Váldez ( born February 22, 1988 in Mexico City) is a Mexican footballer who plays on the defensive - is used - mostly at right-back, and occasionally as a defensive midfielder. He stands at Club América under contract.
Biography
Juarez comes from the offspring of the Pumas de la UNAM, from the youth team, he managed to jump into the U-17 National Team Mexico. With this he won the 2005 discharged in Peru U- 17 World Cup.
In the season 2005/ 06 he was awarded a professional contract at the Club Universidad Nacional, but did not play. Before the start of season 2006/ 07 he moved to FC Barcelona, where he could not prevail. The end of 2007 he returned to Mexico, where he has since been again at the UNAM Pumas under contract.
His debut as a professional player in rows of the University Association he gave on January 2, 2008 in a match of the Inter League against CF Monterrey, the Pumas won 1-0 though, but in the end group and thus were last missed qualifying for the Copa Libertadores.
His debut in the Primera División, he celebrated on the opening day of the Apertura 2008 ( 2008/ 09) in a match against Necaxa, which was held on 27 July 2008 and won by the Cougars 2-0.
On June 28, 2009 Juárez its debut in ranks of the Mexican national team in a friendly against Guatemala, which was held in the U.S. and ended goalless. His biggest success in the dress of the national team was winning the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2009. During this tournament Juárez had played all the games in full length.
In summer 2010, Juárez moved to Scotland Celtic FC, where he signed a four -year contract. Until January 2012 Juárez was loaned to Real Zaragoza. In June, he returned to his home to Club America.
