Eger at Bopfingen

The Eger is a right tributary of 37 kilometers length of Wörnitz arising on Egerursprung and mostly runs in shallow Ries. However, the Eger flows mostly channeled along the lower reaches partly in natural river bed.

The Egerursprung - not to be confused with the Egerquelle, the other, flowing to the same Eger - is located in a water protection area in the fulling mill of the district Aufhausen in the city Bopfingen in Ostalb in Baden- Württemberg. Course
