Company History

The designer Rudolf Egg and his partner Egli founded in 1896 in Zurich, the car factory Zurich Egg & Egli.

1904 production ended when Rudolf Egg left the company to start the motor car factory Excelsior.

Rudolf Egg designed his first car in 1893, which went into series production in 1896. It was a tricycle, in which the individual wheel was back.
