Eggs over Easy

Eggs over Easy was an American country-rock band that played a key role in the development of the pub rock in the early 1970s in London.

Band History

The two New York Jack O'Hara ( guitar, bass, vocals) and Austin de Lone (keyboards, guitar, vocals) met in Berkeley, California, know, where they performed as a duo. Back in New York, they were joined by Brien Hopkins (keyboards, bass, guitar, vocals). Eggs over Easy occurred in a number of London pubs. In September and October 1971 she went as the opening act with John Mayall on tour in the UK, now with George Butler on drums. The second album Fear of Frying appeared in 1981 Squish Records. In the same year, Eggs over Easy disbanded. Hopkins remained active as a songwriter, O'Hara was a sound engineer, and de Lone played as a session musician with such artists as Bonnie Raitt, Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello and others.
