Egídio Pereira Júnior

Egídio de Araújo Pereira Júnior, called Egídio, ( born June 16, 1986, Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian footballer.

Career

Generally

Egídio began his career in 2002 at his youth club Flamengo. After a good start to the youth teams but he was hired after his first year as a pro in 2007. He was so far eight different Brazilian professional clubs and won with these various titles, including the Brazilian Championship 2013.

Association

Egidio began his career in the youth area of Flamengo. As a promising player, he fell for the first time at the Copa de Cultura Juniores on in 2005.

In 2006, Egidio was given the first three appearances in the state championship in Rio de Janeiro. As part of this team won the 2006 Brazilian Cup. But after his first season for Flamengo, he was loaned to Paraná in the spring of 2007. Here he was voted the best left-back in the Campeonato Paranaense.

In the spring of 2008 he was able to successfully participate for Flamengo in the Campeonato Carioca. However, he failed to establish himself in the team and was loaned to Juventude before the start of the championship round.

The end of 2008 we went back to Flamengo for the 2009 season. Again he was able to win the state championship in Rio de Janeiro, in order to then leave again for the championship the club must. This time after Figueirense in the Brazilian Championship Serie B.

2010 was again no place in his hometown club in Rio. In that year, he was loaned out for the season in the first division Victoria. Here he handed the cup final, but stood at the end of the season with the club to relegation zone.

In 2011, again at Flamengo, began for him promising to the third winning the state championship in Rio. However, in 2011, he was loaned out again, this time to Ceará.

Even before the end of the championship round, 28 October 2011, he came from Ceará to Flamengo back. There was this rumor that he had left the club for indiscipline, but in fact he had to be treated at the knee.

In 2012, the loan was confirmed by the end of the year to Goiás. There he worked with eight goals scored and 28 assists give, nicknamed the King of the templates. On 3 December 2012, the sale of the player of Flamengo at the Cruzeiro EC was confirmed.
