Egmont von Hosstrup

Egmont Hoßtrup full name of God Helps Egmont of Egmont Hoßtrup also Gotthilf of Hostrup or Hoßtrupp ( born October 1, 1813 in Hamburg, † 1876) was publisher, theater director and conductor of the Hamburg stock exchange hall.

Life

Egmont by Hoßtrup was the eldest son of Gerhard Hoßtrups. He studied from 1832 in Göttingen and Heidelberg legal and Cameralwissenschaft and graduated in 1836 with a doctorate in rights from Heidelberg. In 1845 he married Luise Auguste Thesdorp, a stepdaughter of the Hamburg Higher Court Advocates - A. Stulmann. After the death of his father he took over the management of the Hamburg stock exchange hall. He was editor of the magazines list of the Exchange Hall and Literary and Critical leaves the stock market hall.
