Egor Vyaltsev

Yegor Ivanovich Wjalzew (Russian Егор Иванович Вяльцев; born October 10, 1985 in Voronezh, RSFSR ) is a Russian professional basketball player. Wjalzew played as a junior for the dominant Russian basketball team CSKA PBK from Moscow and won with this team and the Russian Championship. After he acted for several other Russian clubs, he plays since the season 2011/12 for the VTB- winner and Russian runners- BK Khimki. With the Russian national team Wjalzew took part in the European Basketball Championship in 2009.

Life

Wjalzew was a member of the respective Russian youth national teams in his age group and in 2002 claimed the U18 European Championship club from Pulkovo in St Petersburg in the youth team of CSKA Moscow. After CSKA twice previously failed to win the Russian championship, which they otherwise all won since 1990, it was again in 2003 Russian master. Following Wjalzew also was used in the first men's team in the season 2003/ 04. He was allowed to participate in 2003/ 04 in four games in the highest European club competition ULEB Euro League. After CSKA managed to defend his title, Wjalzew changed from " Army Sports Club " CSKA for "Air Force Sports Club " ZSK WWS to Samara. Here he was but borrowed already after just half of the season in Ural Great Perm, which won the only other two Russian league titles in 2001 and 2002, which were not obtained from CSKA. After Wjalzew with the Russian youth team won the title at the U20 European Championship in 2005, he was taken from Ural Great for the following two seasons regularly under contract. With his teammates, among whom was 14-year- old former vice world champion Vasily Karasev was, he won the 2006 FIBA EuroCup smaller European club competition Challenge in the final series against Ukrainian club Chimik from Juschne. In the championship of Russia Ural Great had the best of times already behind him and retired in 2006 as a year earlier from in the first play-off round of the Russian Championship. 2007, it missed even under new coach Rimas Kurtinaitis the play-offs and Wjalzew moved back to the vicinity of Moscow to triumph Ljuberzy who had become the successor of the club Dynamo Moscow Oblast.
