Egypt at the 1912 Summer Olympics
Egypt participated in the V. Summer Olympics in Stockholm in 1912 in part for the first time at summer games. The Egyptian Olympic Committee had been founded two years earlier and added to the International Olympic Committee. Prior to 1906 athletes for Egypt had gone to the start already at the Summer Olympics. In the Swedish capital, the country was a sportsman, the fencer AM Hassanein, represented. He was accompanied by the Egyptian IOC member Angelo C. Bolanachi.

1 = Egypt participated only in the Equestrian Games, which took place five months earlier in Stockholm. 2 = Participation as United Arab Republic. 3 = The Egyptian athletes took only until July 20 in the Games before they withdrew their participation.
