Ehime FC
Ehime FC (Japanese爱媛FC ) is a Japanese football club from Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture of capital. Since the championship in the Japan Football League in 2005, the club plays second-rate.
History
The club was founded in 1970 as Matsuyama Soccer Club and renamed itself in 1995 in Ehime Football Club has to offer. For a long time the club played in the regional or prefectural league because Matsuyama has been represented in the Japan Soccer League by the works team of the resident company Teijin.
In 2003, the rise in the Japan Football League succeeded. After winning the JFL championship 2005 Ehime playing in the J. League Division 2
On 28 November 2007 Ehime achieved a moderate success with a 2-0 victory over the reigning winner of the AFC Champions League, Urawa Red Diamonds, in the fourth round of the National Cup.
2008, the Ehime took over F. C. the Ehime Shimanami F. C. as reserve team, which since as Ehime FC Shimanami runs.
