Ehndorf

Ehndorf is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein.

Geography and transport

Ehndorf lies at the confluence of the Aalbek with the sturgeon a few kilometers west of Neumünster, near the wildlife park Aukrug. To the east runs the Federal Highway 7 from Hamburg to Neumünster, north of State Road 430

History

Eight Bronze Age barrows in the municipality indicate an early settlements.

The town was first mentioned in 1201.

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the CDU has been the local elections in 2013 six seats and the three SPD.

Medium-wave transmitter
