Ehwaz
Ehwaz ( ᛖ ) is the nineteenth rune of the Elder Futhark with the phonetic value of e and is missing in the Norse runic alphabet. The reconstructed Proto-Germanic name means " horse" and appears in the runic poems as Old English e ( o) h or gothic EYZ. The similarity with a Latin M is purely coincidental.
