Eick is a district of Mechernich in the district of Euskirchen (Nordrhein- Westfalen).

The village is located northwest of Kommern. In the resort, the county roads 20 and 27 meet Eicks flows through the Rotbach that is, between Glehn and Eicks Bruchbach.

In the village there is the parish church of St. Martin, 700 meters from the forest chapel, St. Mary's Chapel of in 1782.

On 1 July 1969 Eicks was incorporated into Mechernich.

Castle

Castle Eick is a late Baroque, two-piece water castle. In the 14th century it was built as Fronhof. A rule Eick was first mentioned in 1344. In the 17th century, the three-winged outer bailey was rebuilt. In the same century the mansion was built.

The castle is privately owned and is inhabited. There will be many events held at the castle, such as the annual castle festival.
