Eigamoiya

Eigamoiya (* before 1860, † after 1915 ) was a Nauruan queen and weds the king Auweyida. As a young woman she was married to the former chief of Boe Auweyida and thus chief of Boe. With the coronation Auweyidas king Eigamoiya was logical Queen of Nauru. She had, in contrast to her husband less political, but rather representative functions as Nauruan queen. In general, therefore, is very little known about them.

The Nauru Pacific Line named one of their ships after her.
