Eilenriedehalle

The Eilenriedehalle is an event hall in Hannover Zoo district close to the city parks of Hanover and the Eilenriede. The hall is part of the Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC ) and was built in 1975.

Description

The Eilenriedehalle is the largest hall of the HCC with a total size of 4632 m². Their total length, divided into Eilenriedehalle A and the cultivation Eilenriedehalle B is about 80 × 25 m. The width of both parts is around 44 m, the height of about 9 m Part A and Part B of 10 m. Without seating can Eilenriedehalle events with up to 7500 visitors to record.

Events

Before the opening of the TUI Arena (then known as Preussag Arena) in 2000 was the Eilenriedehalle preferred venue of major events of all kinds in Hanover. Concerts also numerous internationally renowned artists took place here. Among other things, appeared in the hall Abba, AC / DC, Bon Jovi, The Cure, David Hasselhoff, Iron Maiden, Meat Loaf, Mike Oldfield, Rainbow, Lou Reed, Saga, Styx and Whitesnake.

Today the Eilenriedehalle is mainly used for smaller shows.
