Eimmart (crater)

Eimmart is an impact crater on the moon northeastern front, between the edge of Mare Crisium and Mare Anguis. The rim is moderately eroded, the interior is down to landslides especially in the south largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the German astronomer Georg Christoph Eimmart.
