Eimsbüttel (quarter)

The district Eimsbuettel is the namesake of the Hamburg district Eimsbuettel and of the population terms by far the largest area of the district. It borders on Stellingen Lokstedt, High air -West, Harvestehude Rother tree in the district Eimsbuettel as well as star jump and Altona- Nord district of Altona.

Geography

History

Eimsbuettel was documented as Eymersbuttele in 1275 as one of the smallest villages on the outskirts of Hamburg for the first time and thus belongs to the constable - settlement historic towns, whose village founders in this case was a man named Elimar. 1339, leaving Count Adolf of Holstein the village the adjoining convent Herwardeshude.
