Einstein–Cartan theory

The Einstein - Cartan theory (ECT ) is a theory of gravitation and is a generalization of the general relativity theory (ART) dar. While in the ART, the torsion is equal to zero, which causes problems in the treatment of angular momentum, we tried in the ECT to treat spin and twist consistent and not negligible. Based on the ART, ECT not only considered the energy -momentum tensor as a source of gravity, but also the spin tensor as the source of a gravitational field, as matter particles also have spin quantum numbers.

Based on the ideas of the French mathematician Élie Cartan, ECT was developed 1961-1965.
