EJOT

EJOT is a medium-sized German company group, develops and produces solutions for joining technology in the industrial, construction and plastics. The headquarters of the group is located in Bad Berleburg in Siegen- Wittgenstein.

History

The origin of EJOT is the company founded in Bad Berleburg - Bergshausen 1922 Adolf Bohl, which initially focused on the production of nails.

In 1960, the company was taken over and continued after the death of the founder of his nephew Hans W. Kocherscheidt. In 1965, this company acquired the Eberhard Jaeger in Laasphe that produced screws, and led the two companies under the name EJOT ( derived from the initials pronounced Eberhard Jaeger ) together.

In 1971, the production in Bad Berleburg was supplemented by a plastic production. In 1993, the EJOT Schraubenwerk Tambach GmbH in Tambach -Dietharz, Thuringia. In addition, the company has been expanding since 1985 through a variety of subsidiaries and offices in Scandinavia, Europe, Russia, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico and China.

In 2008 EJOT opened a new logistics center in Bad Laasphe with up to 7500 pallets.
