Ekaterina Atalik

Ekaterina Atalik ( born November 14, 1982 as Yekaterina Polownikowa ) is a Turkish- Russian woman chess Grandmaster ( WGM ) and International Master (IM).

Individual tournaments

In 1997 she won the European Championships in Tallinn of female youth U16. In April 2006 she won the discharged in the Turkish city of Kusadasi seventh European Individual Championships for Women.

Team Tournaments

She played in the Chess Olympiads in 1998 for Russia and 2006 for Turkey. They also took part in the European Women's Team Championships 1999 Russia and 2007 for Turkey.

Private

Since 11 November 2005, she is with the Turkish Grandmaster Suat Atalik (born 1964 ) married and has acquired Turkish citizenship.
