Ekaterina Lopes

Ekaterina Evgenevna Lopes, née Ivanova (Russian Екатерина Евгеньевна Лопес; born December 18, 1987 in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian tennis player.

Career

Lopes, who prefers playing on clay, previously won three tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit: 2005 in Bucharest, 2008 in Mestre and 2009 in Brno. Between 2005 and 2009, six doubles title on ITF level were added, now there are eleven.

In 2008, she also reached the quarter- finals of the WTA tournament in Barcelona. Lopes was able to qualify for the first time in 2008 Australian Open, but failed there in the first round, as well as in 2010 at the French Open.

In 2013 she married her coach Andre Lopes.
