Eladio Vicuña Aránguiz

Eladio Vicuña Aránguiz ( born June 2, 1911 in Santiago de Chile, Chile, † 29 June 2008) was Roman Catholic Archbishop of Puerto Montt in Chile.

Life

Eladio Vicuña Aránguiz ordained a priest on September 22, 1934 in Santiago de Chile.

In 1955 he was of Pius XII. appointed bishop of the Diocese of Chillán. He received his episcopal consecration on October 18, 1955 Bishop Ramón Munita Eyzaguirre. 1974 Pope Paul VI appointed him. Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Puerto Montt. His resignation was accepted in 1987 by John Paul II.
