Electron acceptor

With an electron ( electron acceptors ) is understood in the physics and chemistry of a particle ( atom, molecule or ion ), which is capable of accepting electrons. Equating the term Lewis acid is obsolete and should no longer be used. The term plays a role in relation to the redox reaction. The process is known as reduction, the particles or the substance itself as an oxidant. The opposite is the electron donor.
