Elena Tchaikovskaia
Jelena Anatoljewna Tschaikowskaja (Russian: Елена Анатольевна Чайковская; born December 30, 1939 in Moscow) is a Russian figure skating coach.
Tschaikowskaja was born in 1939 in Moscow into a family of theater actors. Even as a child she was to see her father Anatoly Osipov of the page in several Soviet films. Due to health problems with her lungs, she took her father to an ice skating rink. After high school, she attended the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts. In 1957 she was Soviet figure skating champion. Your trainer was Tatjana Tolmatschewa, born Granatkina. 1960 ended Tschaikowskaja their competitive career and was a choreographer and later figure skating coach. Since 1997 she has been head coach of the Russian Olympic Committee. Since 2010 she has worked in the newly built Yantar sports center in Moscow with her former pupil Vladimir Kotin. Tschaikowskaja wrote several books on figure skating.
