Elephantis

Elephantis, and Elephantine, was an ancient Greek writer. She was famous in her day as the author of a richly illustrated book on counselor positions during lovemaking. This book has not survived, but was very popular in ancient times. It is reported that it served the Emperor Tiberius in the facilities of his bedroom as a template. Their popularity is comparable to the author Philainis who wrote a similar but probably unbebildertes work. In addition Elephantis wrote some medical works about conception, contraception and cosmetic hair care.
