Élet és Irodalom

Élet és Irodalom (Hungarian for life and literature, short ÉS ) is a Hungarian weekly newspaper with an emphasis on literature and politics. It is regarded as politically liberal. As early as 1923 there was a short-lived newspaper of the same name, founded by Dezso Szabó. In 1957 began today's paper ( biweekly ) to appear.

In the weekly magazine Rundschau of Perlentaucher regular reports on selected articles in the newspaper.
