Elfi Zinn

Elfi Zinn, née Rost ( born August 24, 1953 in Rathebur, Anklam county ) is a German track and field athlete ( middle distance ). She won the bronze medal in the 800 -meter run at the Summer Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976 for the GDR. Elfi Zinn was also in hall competitions successful: In 1972, she was second in the European Championships in the 800 -meter run. On 14 January 1976, she presented with 2:01,4 min in Berlin in the 800 -meter run an indoor world record. She started for the SC Neubrandenburg and trained at Walter Gladrow.

At a size of 1.65 m, they had a competition weight of 55 kg.

Elfi Zinn is a professional photographer and worked until the dissolution of the GDR in the Foreign Ministry.
