Elger (crater)

Elger is an impact crater in the southwest of the moon at the front edge of Palus Epidemiarum, west of the crater Capuanus and southeast of Ramsden. The crater is heavily eroded and uneven inside.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British astronomer Thomas Gwyn Elger.
