Eliot Pattison

Joseph Eliot Pattison ( born October 20, 1951) is an American lawyer, journalist and author of detective fiction.

As an expert in international law, he worked as a lawyer and consultant for various international companies. From it there are numerous publications on international law and other international issues. His book Breaking Boundaries (1996 ) was taken by the New York Times in the selection of the five best management books of the year.

His experience abroad, including many trips to China, provided the basis for his crime series to the earlier investigators Shan Tao Yun, who fell in the political leadership of China in disgrace in Beijing and was therefore banished to Tibet.

Pattison is married and father of three children. He lives with his family on a farm in Oley Valley, Pennsylvania.
