Elisabeth Gürtler

Elisabeth Gürtler - Mauthner ( born May 7, 1950 in Vienna) is an entrepreneur from Austria.

Life

Elisabeth Gürtler - Mauthner is the daughter of the international grain merchant and trading entrepreneur Fritz Mauthner. She graduated at the Vienna University of Economics an economics degree with the academic degree of "Diplom -Kaufmann ". After the death of her father in 1988 she was - together with her sister and her mother - partner in his father's company. After the death of her ex - husband Peter Gürtler (of which she was divorced in 1983) in 1990, she took over the management of the joint, then under age, children ( Alexandra Winkler Gürtler * 1975, Georg Gürtler b. 1979 ) inherited Hotels ( Hotel Sacher in Vienna, the Hotel Sacher in Salzburg ) and the Sacher Torte AG and several subsidiaries.

She organized from 1999 to 2007 the Vienna Opera Ball and thus followed Lotte Tobisch. For this work, she received the Golden Medal for Service to the City of Vienna.

As of 1 December 2007 concerning Elisabeth Gürtler - Mauthner took, which was formerly even an avid horsewoman and 1979 Vice State Champion in dressage was, together with Erwin Klissenbauer the leadership of the Spanish Riding School. Elisabeth Gürtler - Mauthner is married to the Austrian actor Helmuth Lohner.
