Elisabeth of Meissen

Elisabeth of Meissen (* November 22, 1329 at the Wartburg, † April 21, 1375 ) was a princess of the House of Wettin and by marriage Viscountess of Nuremberg.

Elizabeth was a daughter of the Landgrave of Thuringia and Margrave of Meissen, Frederick II and Matilda / Mathilde (* 1309/13; † July 2, 1346 ), the daughter of the Emperor Louis of Bavaria.

They married on September 7, 1350 in Jena, the Nuremberg Castle Count Friedrich V., emerged from their marriage eight children:
