Elisabeth Olin

Elisabeth Olin ( born December 23, 1740 in Stockholm as Elisabeth Lillström, † March 26, 1828 ibid ) was a Swedish opera singer. She was a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.

Life

Elisabeth Olin was born in 1740 as the eighth child of a poor musician Johan Lillström in Stockholm. In 1773 she was appointed as the first Swedish singer for life at the Royal Opera in Stockholm.
