Elisha D. Cullen

Elisha Dickerson Cullen ( born April 23 1799 in Millsboro, Delaware, † February 8, 1862 in Georgetown, Delaware ) was an American politician. Between 1855 and 1857 he represented the State of Delaware in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Elisha Cullen attended Princeton College, later Princeton University emerged from the, and then studied law. After his made ​​in 1821 admitted to the bar he began in Georgetown to work in his new profession. Politically, he came only in the 1850s as a member of the American Party in appearance.

In the congressional elections of 1854, he was against the Democratic incumbent George R. Riddle in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC selected.
