Elizabeth Inglis

Elizabeth Inglis (* July 10, 1913 in Colchester, England, as Desiree Mary Lucy Hawkins; † August 25, 2007 in Santa Barbara, California ) was a British actress, known for her role in The Secret of Malampur together with Bette Davis.

Your screen debut was in 1934 with the film Borrowed Clothes. In 1935 she had a small role in the Alfred Hitchcock film The 39 Steps as Hilary Jordan.

In 1942, she married Sylvester " Pat" Weaver, an American radio manager who was 1953-1955 president of NBC. After her marriage with Weaver she sat down to rest and took no acting roles in more. The couple had two children, including the actress Sigourney Weaver.

Inglis died in 2007 in Santa Barbara, California at the age of 94 years. She was the last surviving cast member of Hitchcock's The 39 Steps.
