Elli Medeiros

Elli Medeiros (born 18 January 1956 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is an Uruguayan actress and singer.

Life

With 14 years Medeiros moved to Paris. After a few years later, the school broke off, she joined the punk band Stinky Toys. After the dissolution of the band they founded together with former Stinky Toy member Jacno the electro-pop duo Elli et Jacno. Together they released several albums. This also included the soundtrack to Eric Rohmer's film Full Moon Nights ( Les Nuits de la Pleine Lune ). In 1986, she then started a solo career and also sang for Étienne Daho, the back-up vocals of some of his songs on the album Eden.

Furthermore, she appeared in several French films, including productions by directors Olivier Assayas and Philippe Garrel.
