Elliot Bunney

Elliot Bunney ( Elliot John Bunney, born December 11, 1966 in Edinburgh) is a former British sprinter.

At the Junior European Championships 1985 in Cottbus Bunney won the 100 - meter dash in 10.38 seconds before Hungary Endre Havas and his compatriot John Regis. Together won Bunney and registration with the British team gold in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. The following year he was starting for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh over 100 m fifth in 10.37 seconds and won with the Scottish relay bronze in 40.41 s third behind the teams from Canada and England. Four weeks later at the European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart, the British relay of three Englishmen and a Scot was formed. In the occupation Bunney, Daley Thompson, Mike McFarlane and Linford Christie she took bronze in 38.71 s behind the teams from the Soviet Union and the GDR.

At the Olympic Games in Seoul Bunney was again first leg of the British quartet that won in the cast Bunney, Regis, McFarlane and Christie in 38.28 seconds silver behind the Soviet relay. Bunney was still some years active and acted as starter for Scottish relay at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland ( 6th place) and 1994 in Victoria ( 5th place).

Elliot Bunneys is 1,82 m tall and weighed in his playing days 80 kg.
