Elliott Belgrave

Sir Elliot Belgrave GCMG ( born March 16, 1931 in Boscobel, Barbados ) is a Barbadian judges and politicians.

Career

Belgarve graduated from the University of Cambridge (MA) and at the University of London ( LLB). He was Attorney General and Judge of the Supreme Court of Judicature. Following the resignation of Clifford Husbands took Belgrave from 1 November 2011 to June 1, 2012 interim basis, the Office of the Governor General of Barbados. On May 22, 2012, he was appointed the seventh Governor-General. His oath of office he took off on 1 June 2012.
