Elm Park tube station

Elm Park is an aboveground station London Underground in the London Borough of Havering. It is located in the Travelcard Zone 6 at Andrews Avenue. In the year 2011 there were 2.44 million passengers these from the District Line station.

The opening took place on May 13, 1935, almost three years after the existing line between Barking and Upminster had been electrified. The parallel part of the railway towards Southend -on-Sea there since 1888. Already perverse between 1905 and 1908 for trains on the District line, but then pulled by steam engines and without a stop in Elm Park.
