Elmar Geirsson

Ernst Elmar Geirsson ( born July 25, 1948 in Reykjavík ), is a former Icelandic football player.

Association

He first played from 1965 to 1970 for Fram Reykjavik. In the 1971/72 season, he completed 19 games for Hertha Zehlendorf in Berlin Regional when she met twice. In 1974 he returned to Iceland to Fram Reykjavík and he first league Islands was used ( four goals) in seven games. This interplay between the Berlin club and his Icelandic club he also continued in the following years until he joined the 1975/76 season Eintracht Trier in the Rhineland Association League. In the subsequent season graduated from the then ten games for the Moselaner in the 2nd Bundesliga, scoring one goal. In 1978 he again went back to his home and played there until 1982 KA Akureyri.

From 1967 to 1980, he was 23- times for the Icelandic national team on the court, scoring a total of two hits.
