Elugelab

Elugelab (or Elugelap, Eluklab on the map opposite ) was an island that was the Eniwetokatoll the Marshall Islands belonging. The 500 meter long and half as wide island was completely destroyed during the first test of a hydrogen bomb on November 1, 1952 during the Operation Ivy. The bomb had named Ivy Mike with an explosive yield of 10.4 megatons of TNT equivalent one about 750 times greater explosive force than the Little Boy bomb that destroyed Hiroshima.
