Elżbieta Radziszewska

Elżbieta Radziszewska ( born January 6, 1958 in Białocin ) is a Polish politician, Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

She studied medicine at the Medical Academy of Łódź (now Medical University of Łódź). In 1982 she became an assistant at the regional hospital in Piotrków. 1991 to 2001, she worked in a private medical practice as a doctor. In the parliamentary elections of 1997 she went to the Unia Wolności and moved for the first time in the Sejm. In 2001 she joined the newly formed Civic Platform. With this she was successful in the 2001 elections, in 2005 and the early elections in 2007. Since 17 March 2008, she has served as Secretary of State in the Prime Minister's Office. On 30 April of the same year, she was equal opportunities officer of the government.

Elżbieta Radziszewska is married.
