Emanuil A. Vidinski

Emanuil A. Vidinski (* June 27, 1978 in Vidin ) is a Bulgarian writer, musician and journalist.

Emanuil A. Vidinski graduated from the German School in Sofia and visited Germany after graduation. After four years he returned and studied Slavic and German at the University of Sofia.

In 2004 he founded with two other writers Bulgarian ethno - rock band " Gologan " and was until 2006 the drummer of the band. He was music editor of the "Literary Newspaper " (2005/2006), editor in publishing " Altera " (2007-2009) and editor in the Bulgarian department of Deutsche Welle in Bonn (2008-2012 ).

Awards

  • 2004 " Raschko - Sugarev Prize" for short prose
  • 2009 second place in the short story prize of the Bulgarian publishing house " Balkani ".
